Design and Construction

Our design and construction team is responsible for managing all of Oldham’s highway structures, which include bridges, culverts, retaining walls and subways throughout the borough.

They undertake detailed programmes of inspections, and they have been responsible for securing various grants from external sources – with amounts of up to £22 million being attained for such works.

The design and construction team offers procurement services, detailed design for safety schemes and can provide on-site supervision of all works. Unity Partnership ensures that every scheme is carried out safely, to a high-quality and with the minimum of disruption to the local community.
