HR and payroll transactional team
The HR and payroll team provide HR administration services, including processing starters, leavers and contract variations. This includes accurate payroll activities to ensure delivery of monthly payments to council and third party employees. Statutory returns (for example HMRC) are completed on behalf of the clients.
The recruitment team co-ordinate the advertising of posts on the Greater.Jobs website and communicate with prospective candidates on behalf of managers. Once the successful candidate has been recruited, they manage the employment checks (DBS, medical, references).
The pensions team liaise with the Greater Manchester Pension Fund and Teachers Pensions.
HR and payroll system support team
The systems team provide technical support and data management in relation to the various systems currently in use. They also implement any system updates and changes.
The award winning HR Advisory team provides advice and guidance to line managers, supporting them to implement people management policies and procedures. This includes improving attendance, disciplinary, grievance and restructures.
